Job Description: As an Azure Admin, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Azure cloud environment, including Azure Event Hub. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration, continuous delivery, and efficient cloud operations. Your expertise in Azure, CI/CD, DevOps, integration, shell scripting, and Azure Event Hub will be crucial in delivering high-quality cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and Azure Event Hub.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and continuous delivery of applications.
Develop and maintain shell scripts to automate repetitive tasks and streamline cloud operations.
Monitor and optimize the performance, security, and cost-efficiency of Azure resources, including Azure Event Hub.
Implement and manage DevOps practices and tools to enhance collaboration and productivity.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure infrastructure and services.
Configure and manage Azure Event Hub for real-time data ingestion and event streaming.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in cloud computing and DevOps.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Azure Admin or similar role, with a strong focus on managing Azure cloud environments.
Proficiency in Azure services, including virtual machines, storage, networking, security, and Azure Event Hub.
Experience with CI/CD tools and practices, such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab.
Strong understanding of DevOps principles and tools.
Proficiency in shell scripting for automation and process optimization.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
Azure certification(s) is a plus.
Experience with other cloud platforms and services.
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or PowerShell.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
