Job Description: As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the backend infrastructure that powers our applications and data solutions. You will work closely with our frontend developers, data engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless data flow, efficient data ingestion, and robust automation. Your expertise in MuleSoft and Python will be crucial in delivering high-quality backend solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs to support application functionality and data workflows.
Utilize MuleSoft to design and develop integration solutions, ensuring seamless connectivity between different systems and applications.
Develop and maintain Python scripts for various backend tasks, including data ingestion and automation.
Write and optimize SQL queries to ensure efficient data retrieval, storage, and processing.
Create and manage Shell Scripts to automate repetitive tasks and streamline backend processes.
Implement data ingestion pipelines to efficiently process and integrate data from various sources.
Collaborate with frontend developers, data engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver robust backend solutions.
Monitor and optimize the performance of backend systems, ensuring reliability and scalability.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies to continually enhance our backend infrastructure.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role, with a strong focus on backend development.
Proficiency in MuleSoft, with experience in designing and developing integration solutions.
Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in developing backend scripts and applications.
Proficiency in SQL, including complex query design and optimization.
Experience with Shell Scripting for automation and process optimization.
Knowledge of data ingestion techniques and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Preferred Qualifications:
MuleSoft certification(s) is a plus.
Experience with other integration platforms and tools.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and services.
Knowledge of other programming languages and frameworks.
