RIS I is the delivery of regional IT services to the end user. We offer support of end user devices including desktop, workplace peripherals, and voice and video devices. We support local and campus area networks, including wireless and cable plant.
AT&T has an opening for aProgram Manager to communicate issues and solutions; Provide guidance and direct Junior level program managers if any are assigned to the contract/program; Rapidly assemble and execute focused cross-disciplinary Government/Contractor teams to address urgent or unexpected cost, schedule, or technical program/contract issues.
This position requires office presence a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.
Description of Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Coordinating with Service Managers and client Service Owners to understand customer needs.
Coordinating with the Technology Operations Manager, Chief Technology Officer, and Service Mangers in the development of strategic technical roadmaps for the program service areas.
Identifying and implementing ways to improve performance and reliability of existing services through enhanced monitoring capabilities and reduced operational team touchpoints needed.
Developing technical insertion proposals for our client, highlighting ways to bring new and emerging technologies to the client’s environment.
Coordinating with Service Managers to ensure that existing services and new solutions are secure, reliable, and resilient.
Developing relationships with the AT&T product house and bringing relevant information to the Technical Operations Manager, CTO, and project Service Managers.
Collaborate with internal and external technology vendors and organizations to collect relevant information on technologies relevant to our client’s mission.
Coordinating with RIS I Continuous Service Improvement team to gain insight from root cause analysis activities for potential technology/process improvements.
Ensuring that service solution documentation and training is available for Ops, field support specialists, and neighborhood managers to improve operational effectiveness.
Provide engineering oversight to the Service Manager engineering teams, driving focus in service solution designs to ensure they include operational monitoring capabilities, deployment procedures, operational troubleshooting processes, and the ability to measure effectiveness.

Required Qualifications: Fifteen (15) to twenty (20) years of experience as a program or project manager in managing programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Direct experience in managing multi-task contracts and subcontracts of various types and complexity, as well as experience in leading a multi-vendor environment is required.
Shall be knowledgeable of the guidelines provided by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), DoD 5000 series, and ICD 801 policies.
Must have demonstrated experience in conducting requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, deliverable tracking, schedule and financial data monitoring, and reporting.
Must have at least five (5) years of demonstrated experience in the management and control of funds and resources using complex reporting mechanisms such as Earned Value Management.
PMP certification, FAC-P/PM Entry Level certification or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level 2 certification in Program Management is required.
Desired Qualifications: A PMP, FAC-P/PM Senior Level, or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level 3 certification in Program Management.; Domain Table; Description; Information Technology desired.
