Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, ensuring accurate forecasting, strategic planning, and data-driven recommendations to achieve and optimize organizational financial objectives.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Financial Modeling and Analysis: Proven experience with financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting.

  • Independent Problem Solving: Strong ability to work independently while proactively seeking clarification or guidance when needed.

  • Data Summarization and Presentation: Experience creating concise, impactful summaries of financial analysis for leadership using tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Adaptability in a Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to thrive in a dynamic work setting with regular monthly deliverables and flexibility to handle ad-hoc requests.

  • Project Management Skills: Demonstrated project management experience or interest in developing project management capabilities, paired with strong finance and analytical skills.

  • Communication Skills: Clear and effective written and verbal communication to convey insights and collaborate with teams.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Comfortable interacting, collaborating, and communicating across multiple levels within the organization, including senior leadership, peers, and cross-functional teams.

Specific responsibilities that may be required for this role:

  • Perform monthly trend analysis (actuals vs. forecast, month-over-month, etc).

  • Gather, consolidate and synthesize input across multiple finance teams to create forecasts and outlooks.

  • Direct and coordinate with Cross Functional CFOs to collect One-Time Costs related to divesting a portion of AT&T business to another company.

  • Assist Cross Functional CFOs with direction related to costing of transition services pricing related to divestitures.

  • Serve as a project manager and point of contact for assigned Finance work groups


Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Strategic Financial Planning and Analysis: Lead financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning. Provide strategic recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis and projections. Analyze financial performance against key business metrics to document and assess progress.
  • Financial Reporting and Data Interpretation: Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) ensuring accuracy and compliance. Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends and provide actionable insights for decision-makers.
  • Budget Management and Financial Modeling: Oversee the preparation and management of company budgets, monitor actual performance, and analyze variances. Develop and maintain financial models to support business initiatives, investments, and financial opportunities.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Mentor junior financial analysts, providing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Other Duties as Assigned: Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies, ensure compliance with financial regulations, streamline financial processes, communicate financial insights to stakeholders, and support audits and reviews

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 5+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.

  • Typically requires 5-7 years of experience

  • Five or more years of experience in financial modeling and financial forecasting

  • Five or more years of experience in accounting, financial data analysis, or financial reporting preferred

  • Knowledge and experience using Excel, including advanced formula creation

  • Experience using PowerBI is helpful, but not required

  • Experience using Quickbase is helpful, but not required

Our Lead Financial Analysis, earn between $118,800 - $178,200. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
