Overall Purpose: The Lead Logistics Analyst optimizes supply chain operations by managing inventory planning, materials management, and logistics processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation and distribution of goods.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following: • Inventory Planning and Materials Management: Develop and implement inventory planning strategies, oversee materials handling and storage, and maintain optimal stock levels to support seamless operations. • Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct comprehensive data analysis to identify trends and inefficiencies, generate detailed reports, and provide actionable insights for decision-making. • Logistics Process Optimization: Streamline logistics processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the effectiveness of transportation and distribution operations. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with procurement, production, finance, and customer service to align logistics strategies with organizational goals and ensure smooth supply chain operations. • Compliance and Supplier Coordination: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, and coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely delivery, contract negotiation, and performance enhancement.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 5+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.
