JOB LOCATION: 208 S. Akard St. Dallas, TX 75202 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home]
DUTIES: Maintain and grow the AT&T encryption at rest infrastructure. Design, engineer, and maintain the critical encryption at rest environment. Ability to clearly communicate and provide documentation for identified system issues to both vendor and internal teams. Work with many application teams in onboarding/utilizing this infrastructure, supporting the applications teams using the encryption tools, maintaining current software releases, and assisting application teams with any problems encountered. Work on efforts to migrate applications from premise-based encryption at rest usage to Cloud Based encryption at rest, using existing solutions. Assist in the assessment and evaluation of the next generation of data at rest encryption solutions. Work with AT&T application teams utilizing existing structured based encryption tools, and assisting in the migration from premised based structured encryption solutions to Cloud Based structured encryption solutions. Consult, support, and guidance on proper use of the above referenced encryption tools. Assist with system documentation, generation of user documentation and Job Aids will also be included in duties. Utilize Public Cloud usage, DevOps environment, and a focus on quality deployment. Use basic Security Fundamentals, CISSP Certification, knowledge of existing encryption at rest tools (Voltage SecureData, Ubiq Security software). Install and maintain Voltage SecureData KeyServer software, review and install appropriate security and feature patches for Voltage SecureData, and support existing application use cases. Utilize PCI (Payment Card Industry) DSS (Data Security Standards), and be able to apply them to application needs. Utilize Linux/Unix/Windows functions. Work in a hybrid cloud and premise environment with SnowFlake and DataBricks environments. Employ scripting languages (Java), and shell scripting.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Science and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation utilizing Public Cloud usage, DevOps environment, and a focus on quality deployment; using basic Security Fundamentals, CISSP Certification, knowledge of existing encryption at rest tools (Voltage SecureData, Ubiq Security software); installing and maintaining Voltage SecureData KeyServer software, review and install appropriate security and feature patches for Voltage SecureData, and support existing application use cases; utilizing PCI (Payment Card Industry) DSS (Data Security Standards), and be able to apply them to application needs; utilizing Linux/Unix/Windows functions; working in a hybrid cloud and premise environment with SnowFlake and DataBricks environments; and employing scripting languages (Java), and shell scripting.
