We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Tooling Specialist with expertise in creating impactful visual dashboards using Microsoft Power BI and engineering streamlined process flows with tools such as Quickbase or Adobe Workfront. This role plays a pivotal part in enhancing operational efficiency by designing, implementing, and maintaining tools that enable data-driven decision-making and process optimization.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build intuitive dashboards, automate workflows, and ensure seamless integration of tools into existing processes. Key Roles and Responsibilities
Dashboard Development and Data Visualization:
- Design and develop interactive, visual dashboards in Power BI to support business insights and decision-making.
- Integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and clarity in reporting.
- Create user-friendly views, charts, and KPIs tailored to business needs.
Process Engineering and Workflow Automation:
- Build and optimize process flows using tools like Quickbase or Adobe Workfront.
- Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
- Ensure workflows align with organizational goals and improve cross-team collaboration.
Tool Integration and Maintenance:
- Customize and configure tools to meet the specific needs of teams and departments.
- Maintain and update tools to ensure consistent performance and usability.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support for users.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Partner with stakeholders across departments to understand business needs and translate them into actionable solutions.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Power BI, Quickbase, and Adobe Workfront, providing training and guidance as needed.
- Ensure all tools and dashboards are aligned with business objectives and compliance standards.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and suggest innovative solutions.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest features and capabilities of Power BI, Quickbase, Adobe Workfront, and similar tools.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience designing dashboards in Power BI and working with process engineering tools like Quickbase or Adobe Workfront.
- Proven track record of creating actionable dashboards and designing efficient workflows.
Technical Skills:
- Power BI: Advanced skills in data visualization, DAX functions, and connecting data sources.
- Quickbase/Adobe Workfront: Expertise in configuring process workflows, automating tasks, and customizing tool functionalities.
- Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling.
- Familiarity with integrating APIs and third-party tools is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
