Minimum of 6 years of experience as a ServiceNow administration, with a focus on application support, user management, access control, configuration management and Security Operations.
Strong background in ServiceNow development, security operations, and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends
Solid understanding of security operations and best practices, including incident response, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Technical Skills & Responsibilities:
As a ServiceNow Security Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for effectively planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and completing all technical tasks related to configuring and supporting the ServiceNow platform, with a focus on enhancing security measures and meeting security requirements. This role demands a highly organized and proactive individual with a strong technical background in ServiceNow SecOps, coupled with the ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across various teams.
Work closely with stakeholders to thoroughly understand the issue and collaboratively develop a resolution.
Provide coding and customization support across various areas, including user interfaces, workflow administration, report setup, data imports, scripting, third-party software integrations, and custom application development.
Maintain a comprehensive testing suite to support both out-of-the-box (OOTB) and custom applications for regression testing purposes.
Good understanding on external integrations using ServiceNow’s Integration Hub, REST, and other standard integration protocols.
Address complex technical data and transformation issues related to data ingestion and external integrations.
Respond to technical and application configuration inquiries.
Perform regular testing and troubleshooting of ServiceNow SecOps solutions to identify and resolve any issues or bugs.
Stay current with the latest industry trends and best practices in ServiceNow SecOps development, recommending proactive improvements to enhance security operations.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members.
Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
Configure and customize ServiceNow modules, including Incident Management, Vulnerability Response, Threat Intelligence, and Security Incident Response.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Security, and Compliance, to ensure alignment and integration of security processes within the ServiceNow platform.
Experience in developing and implementing ServiceNow integrations with other tools
Ability to provide hands-on support and troubleshooting of the ServiceNow application, related integration, and overall platform.
Experience in configuring Workspace, Process Automation Designer, Integrations specific to SecOps
Drive troubleshooting of issues identifying root cause and working with cross functional teams, or with the ServiceNow vendor as required to address issues in a timely manner

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
Preferred / Nice to have:
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in Security Operations
ITIL V3 foundation certification
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
