Overall Purpose: Develop and implement comprehensive environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and a safe workplace culture. Utilize human organizational performance to drive safety leadership and continual improvement in a large-scale organization. Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Develop and enforce policies to meet local, state, and federal EHS regulations, maintaining adherence and managing agency interactions.
Risk Assessment and Management: Identify workplace hazards, evaluate risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure safety.
Program Development and Training: Design EHS programs aligned with organizational goals and conduct training sessions to foster a culture of safety and environmental awareness.
Incident Investigation and Reporting: Lead investigations of EHS incidents, document findings, and develop preventive measures.
Other Duties as Assigned: Perform additional tasks as needed, including emergency response, data analysis, sustainability efforts, and stakeholder communication, ensuring comprehensive EHS management across all areas.
Job Contribution: An experienced professional, recognized as an expert, creatively resolving complex issues with broad and in-depth knowledge. Environmental Requirements: This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&Ts compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired. 5+ years of related experience. Certification is required in some areas.
Preferred Qualifications: CSP and/or CIH. Profecient in mainstream SMS software, and Microsoft office suite.
Our Lead Env/Health/Safety earn between $106,100 - $159,100 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
