AT&T has an opening for a Cybersecurity Project Manager who:
• Manages Security projects for all phases of the system development life cycle to include initiating, planning, controlling, executing, and closing delivery activities.
• Responsible for translating requirements and organizational strategy workable tasks, then overseeing the development of proposed solutions to meet business needs and achieve customer acceptance.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all project related activities and initiatives.
• Direct team members assigned to projects tasks and operational activities.
• Plan, direct, and coordinates activities of the project to ensure that all project goals are accomplished, meeting and/or exceeding commitments.
• Control all elements of the project through effective and consistent communication.
• Develop, deliver and maintain a Program Management Plan and Integrated Master Schedule.
• Communicate project concerns and suggestions, both verbally and in writing, with Program Manager and government leadership.
• Escalate in an appropriate fashion to ensure government leadership is aware of and can decide upon course of action when goals or targets are at risk.
Required Clearance:
Able to pass police background check. (#clearable)
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree with at least four (4) years’ experience in project management. Four additional years of related experience may substitute for degree.
• Previous experience as a Project Manager, Program Manager, or team leader of some nature.
• Experience briefing government leadership and compiling and/or creating reports (e.g., weekly status reports, monthly status reports, training status reports, etc.).
• Knowledge of resource management principles and techniques.
• Knowledge of risk threat assessment methodologies.
• Ability to organize and prioritize numerous customer requests in a fast-paced deadline driven environment (e.g., demonstrated experience in establishing milestones, triaging tasks given limited resources of time, personnel, and support).
• Knowledge of ITIL service management concepts for networks and related standards. PeopleCert ITIL v4 certification a plus but not required.
• Other certifications in networking and/or cybersecurity a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of the acquisition/procurement life cycle process a plus but not required.
Our Cybersecurity Project Manager's earn between $98,100 - $190,000. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
