Federal contracting is a dictated by US Code, Federal Acquisition Regulation and Cost Accounting Standards. Candidates must have 3+ years working experience with FAR/CAS.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Successful individual will be focused on financial analysis, cost management, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This is a fast-paced position requiring attention to detail, demonstrated problem solving skills, ability to multi-task and thrive in a deadline-driven environment. Applicant needs knowledge FAR and CAS regulations and requirements.
Perform detailed financial analysis of Pro-Services business segment to ensure compliance with FAR and CAS.
Prepare reports to include Indirect Rate cost and variance analysis.
Monitor and analyze cost data to determine cost drivers.
Assist with the development and completion of the Forward Pricing Submissions and Incurred Cost Submission.
Assist with DCAA audits related to the Pro-services business segments.
Ensure that financial practices comply with FAR and CAS standards.
Support others within the team to include Billing, Timekeeping, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable.
Required Qualifications:
Experience with all Fixed Price and Cost Type contracts, including FFP, FP-LOE, T&M, FP-LH, CPFF, CFAF, and other Cost Reimbursable contract types.
Possesses knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation and Cost Accounting Standards.
Strong interpersonal skills necessary to interface and communicate well both verbally and in writing with outside customers as well as internal customers (e.g., Government Accounting, Cost Accounting, Supply Chain, Finance, Contracts, Program Managers, Capture and Proposal Managers).
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word).
Ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment.
Excellent analytical, problem solving, and math skills.
Detail oriented with the ability to proactively ensure that projects are completed on schedule following established procedures.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience and 3 years of prior relevant Government Contracting experience
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and reporting.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Our Senior Financial Analyst's earn between $105,600 - $158,400. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
